A place of shalom, a place of diversity, a place to belong. As I introduce myself to new people and explain what I am doing, I find that not having a name for this new endeavor is problematic. This is the view taken from my dining room window.

Sunday, March 11, 2018. Last Tuesday I went to one of my part-time jobs managing a co-working space, and when I started interacting with people I noticed that I felt like smiling for the first time in weeks. In the next moment I noticed that I felt lighter and I knew the depression had gone back into remission.

Another world is possible and on a quiet day I can hear her breathing. Lately, I have been reflecting on missions. This makes sense considering that my current calling in life involves running a mission trip center. I have also been considering taking a trip to Zimbabwe for my own mission experience and I am wondering if I am able to do this.
